I LOVE to photograph families in their homes, where everyone can be free to be themselves. All of my newborn sessions take place in the home. Family sessions can take place indoors or outdoors at home, or at a lovely outdoor location that is convenient for all of us. Senior Sessions take place at several tried and true lovely outdoor spots here in Needham, Newton, or Wellesley. Personal Branding sessions can take place at your workplace, your home, in a natural light studio that I reserve, or outdoors.

When you book a session with me, we are going to have a nice little chat about wardrobe. I am a big fan of comfort and keeping it simple. Of course, this can be interpreted in countless ways. My rule of thumb is to wear something that is similar to what you would wear if you were going to a daytime party. Jeans are always great, as are maxi-dresses. Keep the dressy shoes and high heels at home, unless they are wedges. Do you all need to match? Nope. Should you run to the mall and buy the same color top for everyone? Nope (your future self will thank you.) However, I DO have ONE RULE, and it is for the mama of the family to give herself enough time to actually try on her outfit to make sure that she feels comfortable and BEAUTIFUL. Kids always look great. No one really cares what the men wear (sorry, guys!) Ladies, make sure to treat yourselves. Buy that new top/dress/chunky necklace that you have had your eye on. After all, these photos are forever.

Senior photos are a little different, and deserve a one-on-one phone call that allows us to strategize the best looks for our shoot.

My goal is to deliver your final gallery to you within two weeks after our session. I will email you a secure link to your private gallery of images, which will be open for another two weeks’ time. After your proofing window has closed, I will circle back and personally assist you with redeeming the print credit that is included in your session package.

I promise not to make you meet me in the rain (unless, of course that is what you want.) Clouds and overcast skies are actually great to shoot in, but if it’s actively raining, we will work together to come up with a Plan B.

I will send you a secure link via Quickbooks to pay for your session online using secure bank transfer or credit card. I also accept personal checks and cash.

Print credit can be seen as cash credit that you may redeem in my pro lab on prints of your choice. You will identify which photos you want printed, and in what sizes, and I will place your order for you and ship it directly to your home. I try to make the ordering process as simple as possible. Print credit expires within 12 months of your session.

I absolutely do! I love to design albums for my clients—I do all of the heavy lifting, but I let my clients do the fun still like choose the album color, cover wording, and font color.
